WELCOME TO BACKSTAGE AT RENAISSANCE-FAIRE.COM

Hi, I'm Patrick Bock owner and webmaster of renaissance-faire.com. I came up with the idea for this site while working at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Southern California in 1995. ( I've been a merchant /caterer at California renaissance faires for over twenty years.) If you have been to the California Renaissance Pleasure Faire you probably saw me behind the counter of Cheesewits or hawking in he street. Lately attendance in California renaissance faires have been dwindling. So in other words, I had lots of free time to deliberate on how to regenerate the customer excitement and patronage of renaissance faires once experienced in the early 60's, 70's and 80's.

Then I discovered that the web domain name, "Rennaissance-Faire.Com" was available, and was hit by a vision. A vision to create a quick, simple link between the 30 million daily Internet travelers and old world artisans and craftspeople of the Renaissance Faire. To bring together the past, present and future travelers of the Renaissance Faires and create a world wide reference of Artisans and Craftspeople.

To accomplish this goal I've developed a dedicated web site which is what I believe to be the premier place for disseminating Renaissance Faire information. With a average of 7,623 visitors a day and growing. We have earned a Netguide Magazine Gold Award (Top 2% of the web) I believe we have accomplishing our goal.

AT RENAISSANCE-FAIRE.COM WE OFFER:

  • A 24 hour a day, 365 days a year, National Renaissance Faire Directory listing every Faire and Renaissance festival in the country. (If I missed one let me know).
  • The Faire Experience, gives present and future faire patrons an idea of what it's like to attend a Renaissance Faire.
  • Market Place of Renaissance artists, musicians, craftspeople and vendors.
  • The "Town Crier", A web magazine offering a place for all renaissance enthusiasts to express themselves and get current faire information.
  • The Renaissance Art Gallery with rotating exhibits by Renaissance artisans and craftspeople.

Renaissance-Faire.Com is not affiliated with any single organization or event.
